How To DOUBLE Your Email Subscribers (In 30-DAYS)

Today I’m going to reveal my all-time favorite email list building techniques.

These are proven strategies you can use to double your email subscribers in 30-days.

So if you’re struggling to convert traffic on your website into email subscribers. 

No Worries.

Or if you are just starting out these techniques are proven to get started with building a profitable email list.

That means you will no longer need to focus on the same outdated tips that everyone tells you to do.

Or read that blog post about “100 ways to build an email list.”

So without further ado let’s dive in.

Strategy #1- The Viral “Thank You” Page 

What if for everyone that Opt-in on your squeeze page you could you 5 or even 10 more subscribers. 

Sounds crazy right? 

Well, this strategy will reveal everything you need to know to make this happen.

Here’s the step by step process:

Step 1

Find the best converting Opt-in form/landing page on your website.

This could be either your newsletter or a dedicated squeeze page you send website traffic.

Once you find the squeeze page that converts the best. 

Good job, let’s keep going.

Step 2 

Add a “thank you” page to the squeeze page you found in step 1.

now, what is a “thank you” page?

A “thank you “page is the page that subscribers see after they Opt-in that tells them what to do next.

Either it directs subscribers to check their email for the free gift they opt-in for,

or

it shows them how to confirm their email address to get their free gift.

A typical “thank you” page would look something like this:

Step 3 

Once your “thank you” page is created, the next step is to offer a bonus on the “thank you” page. 

That way subscribers will need to share the page in order to claim the bonus.

To make the process easy you can use Viral Loops to set up a thank you page that will automatically give subscribers access to the bonus.

Strategy #2: The E.R Technique

I think you can agree with me when I say ‘its about 10% of persons that reads your blog return to your website.’

But

What if there was a way to get people to happily give you their email address and also wants to read your future content.

Well, there is 

It’s called the “Exact Resource” technique.

Still with me?

With this technique, you offer the EXACT resources someone needs to solve a problem or accomplish a result.

Here’s the process to implement it.

Step 1: Publish Something Awesome. 

There is no way around it…

The only way someone will want to take action on the tips you give them is if the content is awesome.

So without content that’ll make your readers go “WOW”.

This technique will not be as effective.

An easy way to find articles that your readers will love is to use Buzzsumo to find topics that performed well in your niche.

Just enter a keyword in Buzzsumo and look at a few contents that have lots of engagement.

Also, you can use your competitors URL to search to see what content perform well on their site.

Once you find a topic that seems like a good fit…

Create something better. Something 10X better…

  • More in-depth 
  • Better design
  • More up to date.
  • Better user experience.

Step 2: Create a resource list.

At this stage, you should have an article ready to publish on your blog. 

But wait!

Before you hit publish. 

You need to create a list of the exact resources that will help your readers take action and get results.

The truth is:

You could give someone the most awesome tips that they need to get results and they will find an excuse not to do it. 

And that’s where the E.R technique comes in place. 

You’re giving someone the exact recourse they need to take action NOW…

In other words : 

You are removing all the guesswork.

So if your new blog post topic is “How to do Guest blogging”

The perfect resource to offer is the EXACT email template you use to get accepted for a guest post on other authority sites.

That way readers don’t have to worry about what to write in the emails to get accepted for a guest post.

Once you completed your list of resource.

You’re going to package it as PDF using Canva or Snappa

Step 3

It’s time to create an opt-in for the PDF you will be giving to your readers. 

You don’t need anything super fancy. A simple Opt-in will work.

I create all my Opt-in forms using LeadPages.

Once you have your Opt-in form is created… 

Select “Plain text link” and then “get code.”

Step 4: Add CTA. 

Once you copy the code from LeadPages it’s time to add a call to action in your blog post in WordPress

At this point, you want to add two CTA in the article…

All you need to do is paste the code you copied into your article.

One at the top and one at the bottom…

So readers will see a CTA like this.

And once they click on the link, the Opt-in form will appear.

This strategy is one of the easiest ways to turn readers into a subscriber.

Now let’s move onto the next technique you can use to increase your email list Growth.

Strategy # 3: Optimize Your HomePage 

If you have Google Analytics connected to your site you already know by now that one of the most visited pages on your site is your home page.

But the question is how can you use your homepage to double your email list? 

Instead of adding a bunch of popups and hoping for the best.

Let’s take a better approach: 

Step 1.

The first step is to log in to your LeadPages account and choose a homepage template.

Here’s why you want to use LeadPages for this technique: 

Unlike other landing page builders.

LeadPages shows you a score of how well your landing page will convert. 

In my opinion, it’s not 100% accurate but it helps you make better decisions when customizing your landing page.

Step 2

The next step is to customize your landing page with an opt-in form and the CTA.

Ensure your headline contains a benefit. (in other words, what will the visitors get when they Opt-in?)

Step 3

Now it’s time to publish your landing on your site using the LeadPages WordPress plugin. 

To do this all you need to do is click on the action icon beside the landing page template you just created from Leadpages dashboard.

Then select publishing options

Next, select WordPress at the top and download the Leadpages WordPress plugin…

After you download the plugin and install it in WordPress.

On the Leadpages tab in your WordPress admin, select & publish the landing page. 

And that’s it.
